Crest Audio has rolled out its new CC 5500 power amplifier. Based on the company’s Pro 200 Series technology, and using a linear power supply, the CC 500 delivers price shown watts of clean power into 4 ohms in Bridged Mono mode for main systems, monitors, and subwoofers, according to the company. CC Series power amps deliver power with high sound quality and value for mobile DJs, club owners, and churches, among others. All CC Series amps are built with tunnel-cooled heat sinks, variable-speed DC fans, and protection circuitry for efficiency into difficult loads and power conditions. The CC 5500 also boasts 16 power devices per channel, plus a switched-trail class H output stage and triple-compound design to provide low distortion and excellent thermal stability.
