The BY-VM600 is powered by a single 1.5V AA battery and features an On/Off power switch with an LED indicator, a 10dB gain switch (off is no gain), and a low-cut filter switch that minimizes the impact of low-frequency hum. There is a hot/cold shoe mount with a locking knob to secure it to your camera. Furthermore, this microphone is easy to use and the powered design maximizes compatibility with sound quality.
