BD Vacutainer™ Glass ACD Solution Tube with Yellow Closure Used to obtain a whole blood or a plasma sample. BD Vacutainer™ Glass ACD Solution Tube with Yellow Closure contains the active anticoagulant Tri-sodium Citrate with Citric Acid and Dextrose. Two formulations of the ACD solution are available. BD Vacutainer™ ACD tubes are available in glass only and are identifiable by a yellow cap (Hemogard™ or conventional). They contain the active anticoagulant Tri-sodium Citrate with Citric Acid and Dextrose in one of two formulations.
