There is a significant improvement in the new Playstation model regarding storage. PS5 Slim Standard has a 1TB SSD that provides 848GB of usable storage compared with the 667GB of space in the 825GB SSD-equipped first PS5 modeL. Like the first PS5, the new PS5 Slim Console has an interior M.2 SSD slot for installing another SSD.

Thanks to ray tracing, you can now immerse yourself in virtual worlds with a new level of realism as rays of light are individually simulated, creating true-to-life shadows and reflections in supported PS5 games.

The Sony PS5 Standard is a 4k PlayStation. Play your favorite PS5 games on your stunning 4K TV for excellent picture quality. With 4k, you enjoy up to 4 times the picture quality of regular content.

The new PS5 Slim ensures you enjoy smooth, fluid, high frame-rate gameplay for compatible games. It also provides support for 120Hz output on 4K displays. This way, the gaming experience takes a whole new level with optimized user experience.

With an HDR TV, supported PS5 games display an unbelievably vibrant and lifelike range of colors.

PS5 Slim Console uses the same AMD Zen 2 CPU, RDNA 2 GPU, 16GB of GDDR6 RAM, Wi-Fi 6, and gigabit Ethernet as the original PS5 model. Its graphical capabilities are identical, too, with ray tracing and the ability to output at up to 8K.

The Sony PS5 Slim standard console is compatible with 8K displays through HDMI 2.1 support. Thus, you will enjoy high-quality content better than on PS4 and PS5 Standard.

Do you have lots of PS4 games? Worry less, now you can play them on your new PS5 standard console.

Sony PS5 Slim Standard console, like the original PS5, allows game publishers to let the players upgrade their disc and digital PS4 games to digital PS5 games. This will save you time and money, as Sony upgraded their gaming devices and pushed for better performance with the digital version model to be launched to the gaming market later.

Connect your PlayStation VR to your PS5 console to enjoy supported PS VR games. To set up your PS VR with your PS5 console, you will need your PlayStation Camera for PS4 and a PlayStation Camera adaptor (no purchase necessary).
