Make sure the hair is 2% damp [slightly wet], then proceed to apply the hair color to the area of your choice.

Continue applying more in bits until you achieve your desired shade.
Allow it to dry.
Go into a hairdryer or pass a blow-dry through it until it completely dries.
You can also allow it to dry on its own under the sun which might take longer.
To remove it, simply wash it off with water.
