Dosage/Direction:

• Insert a test strip into the meter.
• Use a lancet to obtain a small drop of blood from your fingertip.
• Apply the blood drop to the test strip.
• Wait for the meter to display your blood glucose level.
• Follow the meter’s instructions for proper use and disposal of the test strip.

Side Effects:

• Generally, there are no side effects from using the test strips themselves.
• Possible discomfort or minor pain from the finger prick.
• Rarely, infection at the puncture site if proper hygiene is not maintained
