Sandvik DR412i Rotary blasthole drill rig
The Sandvik DR412i is a diesel-powered, self-propelled, crawler-mounted blasthole drill designed for surface mining. It offers a hole diameter range of 203–311 mm (8–12.25 in.) and a single-pass depth of up to 17.8 m (58.4 ft), with a maximum hole depth of 33 m (108.5 ft). Equipped with up to 41,500 kg (91,500 lbs) weight on bit and a pull-down force of 356 kN (80,000 lbf), it delivers dependable penetration for both rotary and DTH drilling methods. The DR412i features advanced automation through the iDrill platform and is AutoMine® ready, allowing for scalable automation from onboard operation to full autonomy. Designed with safety in mind, it includes features like hands-free bit changing and ergonomic cab design. The rig also incorporates a centralized service center and advanced compressor management to reduce fuel consumption and extend component life.
